Projects, Projects, Projects!
Yarns, Threads, Patterns!
So much to do—so little time!
(And oh boy, have we got some fun stuff for you to do this fall!!!)

Let’s start with Needlepoint...

We are so excited to offer a series of stitching classes using Melissa Shirley’s Holiday House Series. These houses are fabulous and will be great fun to stitch. We will start the series with a Christmas house (2 different options above) and schedule 4 more throughout the upcoming year— holidays still to be determined! Eva Hamilton, our own stitcher/teacher‐extraordinaire will be conducting these classes and providing you with stitch guides and ideas for the project. You will learn new stitches, experiment with new threads and have a great time

gathering with other stitchers for these fun projects. The Christmas Holiday House classes will be held on October 20 and November 10, from 12:30 to 4:30, giving you plenty of time for stitching and finishing in time for decorating the holidays. There are two canvases to choose from, so come into the shop before September 15 to register and select the canvas you want to work on. We need to give Melissa Shirley plenty of time to paint them, so don't delay getting in to sign up! The class fee is only $15 per day and of course, the cost of canvas and threads.

We are also planning a series of needlepoint projects utilizing “shadow‐stitching” on Dede canvases starting in January, so keep an eye out for our announcements!

Also, as a reminder, we still run 1‐day workshops with David McCaskill. We’re taking “reservations” now for the 2008 year. The balance of this year’s classes is pretty much full, but we’re still taking names for stand‐by, so if you want to try to get in to see him, give us a shout.

And if you can’t make a McCaskill class, don’t forget to come see our own Eva Hamilton on Thursday and Saturday mornings. She can help add some ZING to that special canvas and help you out of the basket weave doldrums!

September News Sale

We're getting reading for the Fall inventory to arrive and we need to make space on our shelves - our loss, your gain! All cotton-blends, silks, silk-blends, and novelty yarns are being reduced for quick sale anywhere from 20 - 50% off, but only during the 1st two weeks of September, so hurry in to take your pick of the best inventory! Sale ends September 15.
